Sutton Tools Blue Bullet stub drills are a rigid twist drill for use in automatic lathes and hand drilling machines. Developed to drill holes for rivets in flat and curved panels and used in sheet metal fabrication. The blue finish reduces chip build up on the cutting edge and is a better choice when drilling ferrous materials.
- Flute Length designed for shallow hole drilling no deeper than 3 x diameter
- 118 degree split point minimises wandering when starting
- Precision engineered parallel shank for accurate hole size
- Made from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) offering the best combination of strength, heat and wear resistance
- Blue surface finish for ferrous applications. The steam oxide finish prevents chip build-up on the cutting edges and reduces cutting friction, especially in low carbon steels
